I got a T28 when they were pretty much brand new, state of the art. Thought the 'active flip' thing to answer calls was the dogs bollocks, until the catch broke and the damn thing started answering calls in my pocket!

  2. I thought it was a flip phone too but you didn't need the flip open to talk <laugh>

The T10 was the first phone where you could create your own mono tune and I got it the week it came out :)

I had one of these. I ended up throwing it in the river Taff pissed during the 1999 rugby world cup as it wasn't working. I think Wales had played Japan.

    Bloody rubbish.

Wasn't insured, cost me a bomb to replace!!!

    3rd was a Nokia 5500 classic, 4th was an iphone 4, 5th Samsung S5.

Never paid a penny for a phone in my life either, all free on contracts. <ok>

  7. No such thing as free as you pay through the contract but yeah, same. I couldn't list my phones without thinking about it though <ok>

Classify my mobile as an evil necessity. It's either an urgent job at work, or Mrs. B wanting something picking up from the shops. Both signify hassle

  10. Hope you've assigned a appropriate ringtone to it then <laugh>

Love how this thread has veered into reminiscing about mobiles <laugh>

I can't remember all my phones models.

Went big Nokia. Not so big Nokia, big Nokia with slidey thing from the matrix thought it was the bollocks, tiny Nokia, tiny Sony Ericsson(first colour screen) , flip sharp phone, a weird phone with a full keyboard in the middle if you opened it up, weird slim big Nokia (still got in the man drawer) blackberry, blackberry, touch screen blackberry, iPhone, iphone and iPhone.

Having sold both. The iphones do not compare to the high end andrpid phones. Not even close.

Not that it matters. Most people have no idea what their phones can do nowadays. Most would be happy with a 3210 still.

You're a couple of weeks younger than me, I was 32 on the 17th August. I never had a mobile until after school when I got the mighty Nokia 3310 then upgraded to a Sony Ericsson T28i a year later.
