Crazy that Sterling is even in the debate if you cast your minds back one year Most rapid improvement from one individual in such a short space of time?
I was slating him at the start of last season calling him another Aaron Lennon / Theo Walcott; all pace and no end product. He certainly shut me up
Had to put him in there Only thing is, I forgot to tick 'make votes public' so we don't know who voted for who. I went for Flanno (obviously)
his Ricky Gervais finish didn't exactly dispel that but his dribbling, running and general attacking play are outstanding
Sterling, closely followed by the triumvirate of Studge, Hendo and Ford. You know he's good by the fact that the fat, pie-faced Heebie at the Mail is trying to sell him to Spain already: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...gland-s-captain-Raheem-Sterling-main-man.html
Dang... that's hard to say. On one hand Sterling has started so brightly, and is only going to improve. On the other, Moreno and Lovren have had brilliant starts to the season but they're so new how do you judge them. Hendo is so important but in a frequently less visible way. At a glance though I'll say Sterling is going to be the one in the limelight most winning plaudits- but some of the others Moreno, Lovren, Hendo may end up playing a more important role in the club... to early to say for Moreno and Lovren though- they may turn out too be duds after a few games- so far so good though. My Vote Sterling- but not because he is most important, but because he will get the "star" treatment from the press ahead of the others. When people say Liverpool they'll think of Sterling first.
He'll prove a lot of people wrong. If Sturridge and Balotelli get injured........Oh! and Yesil and maybe Suso. Can we bring Origi back from loan? If yes him as well.
