Agreed about Prisoners, had me engaged & interested from start to finish.

Watched Amazing Spider-man 2 tonight. Better than the first imo, liked the re imagining of Electro and the direction they seem to be headed with the Spiderman villains, the idea they are going to gang together to defeat Spiderman which fits with a lot of the source material.
Only down side was a very thin plot

    Really?
You didn't find the Mighty Boosh pretentious as ****?
Tries far too hard to be random, it had a few giggle moments but on the whole I found it tiresome and dull.

Agreed. But I don't like a lot of comedy.

Nope, enjoyed the Boosharoomy, everything Noel Fielding has done since then has been **** though. Which leads me to suspect Julian Barrat was behind its being good, see for example his turn as Dan 'Preacher Man' in Nathan Barley

Agree, Stevie. Noel, being very art-school, is pretty pretentious. However, Julian keeps him 'on task' which why the Boosh works. His (Noel's) solo stuff is tripe, and I'd describe it as Bodanki described the Boosh. <ok>

If you want to see some awesome comedy involving the Boosh boys watch Garth Merenghi's Dark place.
****ing awesome in every aspect, especially if you are between 26-35 and watched a lot of TV as a child.
Its one of the best things ever made, and not just on TV.
