Not two things you would usually put together but the great, er, little man was quoted as saying:

"A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

Hmm, yes, to a degree he was quite correct.

Then again, it's all about how relative the context is.

On Ghandi's goat farm, he probably didn't get too many people 'dropping by' and had to be grateful for passing custom in 1920's India.

Fast forward to 2014 and quoting that to an Argos employee may just lose a little of it's gravitas.

Those poor bastards can barely keep up with the huge lines of brain-dead morons buying their second-rate tat.

No, i'm not a motivational speaker for the Home Retail Group. Although I think I should be.

    So, who's right?

    Ghandi, Argos or me?

Don't lie, you read every word.

No way could you resist it.

Besides, if you had no intention of reading it, you wouldn't have even clicked on it ;)

When I wrote 'you', I really meant all the negative haters that seem completely unable to fathom an original insult :)

Things in Argos, while carrying a manufacturers logo, have a tendency to be cheap knock off ****e. A case in point was Panasonic TVs that were not produced by Panasonic themselves but outsourced to some dodgy factory in Turkey

Most TVs and other ****e are made in places like Turkey and branded elsewhere.
