LOL. Good signing imo, versatile, can play several positions... which he will need to do simultaneously when you see how unbalanced the United squad is. LVG is cloning him as we speak: De Blind brother style
Don't you ever give up? Why do the spineless mods put up with such moronic attempts at wumming? Are you green with envy or do you feel it is your mission to dampen the excitement of United fans here? Just pathetic
Are the reported wages true? Because they're completely, ludicrously ridiculous. One hell of a player though if he's the same as pre-injury. Your policy of buying players who want to play for Real Madrid is still in force
Catch up, every player in the world want`s to play for Real Madrid (or Barca, it depends which one shows an interest) so it is hard to sign one who doesn`t
Facetious but true. Just an interesting quirk that neither of your big signings want to be at United. You were Di Maria's third choice and Falcao's second. (I was joking anyway)
Not really a quirk, just pretty standard given how big Real and Barca are for Hispanic players, and the wages they offer. Players will be interested in joining at least one of them, even if the clubs aren't interested in buying them. I'm sure every single one of Liverpool's signings this summer had Liverpool as their eighth choice at best, but Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, City and Utd didn't bid for them so they had to settle.
Pretty sure one of our signings this summer said they turned Man Utd down as they wanted to play for Liverpool and once our interest was shown there was no question about where he was going... Edit: ****, my bad, it was Tottenham, not Man Utd Still can't remember who it was though
No, it wasn't any of the Saints lot. I want to say Moreno but could have been Markovic. Can't remember but I know I read it in the club interview Doesn't matter anyway, it wasn't Man Utd
I doubt any of the top/elite players that came to the premiership would have done so if Real had gone for them. You do have to take players (and their dads, agenbts, wives, sisters) post purchase statemenst witha pinch of salt. It does seem that City was offered him at a higher loan price but then as the number of suitors dwindled they lowered the price. I don't care how he got here. He is here and he'll score for fun..
It is only the RS and their fans who still want to believe that all the players that come to play for them had their club as their first choice. Their delusion is just incredible... Why would anyone in his right mind go and play for a team that has never won a premiership title except for the money??
