At least he is right about all the fans that watch the match in pubs around the SOL. If I lived in Sunderland, that is something I would never dream of doing - I would rather be at the game than have 5-6 pints etc. Contravertial, I know. Lol Bart
Ah but Bart - mmy point is that the people who watch the game in a pub can't really be called fans can they. I consider myself a fan and would never dream of it - the Garden House in Durham shows majority of the games and I never had mys eason ticket season just gone (My wife had a baby girl in August so couldn't really afford it) - have got this seasons coming up and I went to about 13 of the home games last season on begged, bought and borrowed tickets... If you go to the pub in Sunderland to watch a home game then, in my book, you are not a fan - just someone who casually follows the club
Listening to talk sport yesterday yesterday, and some presenter was begging Wickham NOT to come to us 'cos "he'd disappear without a trace".
Talkshite radio, just ignore it, its reaction radio, just controversial to get a bite - good for their listening figures.
TBH I quite like talksport but have to agree this fellow is a bit of a numpty. Some of the things he said may be true to a point but the venemous way he put his point across seemed to be personal. On the fans getting on players backs he was correct to a point and to be honest this has often worried me as it never inspires confidence, but and this is a big but it is usually a minority and I don't think Sunderland's fan base is any worse by a long shot to alot of the clubs around the country. Another question is this presenter a Liverpool fan? if so he just sounds bitter and to say that the lads move is a mistake before he has kicked a ball is disrepectful to Sunderland AFC and their asperations for the future.
Look anything good that happens around the north east you can guarentee AD will find something to bitch about. Ages ago I was listening him and Darren Gough agreed on something next thing I knew after a set of adverts he changed his view to disagreeing with Darren. Hes a muppet
Bruce should get a copy of all the stuff Durham said and frame it in the dressing room. Bobby used to do that to good effect. **** like this could end up being turned into a positive.
He's a Peterborough fan (or so he says) so is it any wonder that he is totally clueless about top flight football. Its like asking the opinions of the old fitter down at the local back street Garage what he thinks of the Ferrari Formula 1 car. Answer. Its red I think. The man is a prize cock end and deserves anything negative that may come his way in life. You reap what you sow in life on many levels. All he sows is bitterness and hate.
Well, he's only following on from Judas Henderson's opinion, isn't he? What's so very wrong with that?
