I saw his band, Dogstar, at Glastonbury some years ago (out of curiosity). All you could hear from people standing around was comments along the lines of "**** me, they're absolutely ****." And they were. Possibly the worst band I have ever seen (and I've seen some ****e). Believe me, his acting is like De Niro's compared to his musical ability.
He is in a couple of decent films though, to be fair... though they'd obviously be even better films if he wasn't in them.
My favourite is Chain Reaction. It's the one where he shows that he isn't limited to badly acting as thick/not really sure what's happening characters by badly acting the part of a nuclear physicist.
I was thinking more of Point Break and Bram Stoker's Dracula, though Keanu is absolutely gash in the latter. Nonetheless it's still a top, top film. BTW anyone remember this little ditty, written in tribute to the man himself...
Point Break - Class! Wars of religion always make me laugh because basically you're fighting over who has the best imaginary friend.
lol, I've never thought of it in this way before, but now I've seen it written down I'm going to steal it and use it, hope you don't mind
Dangerous Liaisons is another good film he's in. But Uma Thurman manages to steal the show in that one.
