An indication of how mundane today's racing is - Sporting Life website leading with a feature on Aiden O'Brien having the first 6 in the betting for next year's Derby. Scraping the barrel those journos. Not even any McCoy exploits to liven the day up, although one bit of news does affect AP's quest for 300 - Jason Maguire is planning to return to the saddle by the end of September. Great to hear that he is on the comeback trail but AP's agent Dave Roberts will have to start looking even harder for spare rides, as one assumes the opportunities with McCain and Kim Bailey will subsequently dry up.

Meanwhile today's lunch offering consists of:

    1. Spaghetti Carbonara
    2. Battered sole
    3. Vegetarian sausage (currywurst - the well-known Berlin speciality) <yikes>

Feels very much like a fish day, although it isn't Friday. Might need Sir Barney's approval prior to taking the fish ........................

Would be Spaghetti Carbonara for me, love that. Better half has not advised fare for today as yet, but it is nice when one does not have to queue-up for lunch, not yet anyway. Local stocks of 'Spezial' really bad lately, but have substituted beer you recommended recently, Bayreuther Helles, it's OK, really is. Now off to REWE to get my weekly supply, might have to call the manager if still out-of-stock. LOL.

Back all the winners everybody! Think I'll pass today.

Punters at kempton 650 are taking a big chance on tinklers kiss which leaves jimmys girl on 9/4 with a very intresting jockey booking in Morris jimmy went for it last time at this distance and the booking only points to one reason fingers crossed jimmys girl goes in again at 6f

750 kempton ragged robin is the clear favourite but intrestingly two bookmakers are offering 9s on the ginger berry who was 4l second to the fav 28 days ago but today there is a massive weight swing so 9s looks very tasty ew

SCARLET PLUM is interesting in the last at Kempton. First time in a handicap and the form its last maiden is working out stunningly well. First time on AW too and from good connections so worth a dabble maybe!
