http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29028159 Bit strange of the BBC to fixate on the Baywatch connection if you ask me... Jimi Jamison, the lead singer for US rock band Survivor, who sang the theme tune for hit TV series Baywatch, has died aged 63. Jamison, who joined the band in 1984, who also co-wrote the Baywatch theme I'm Always Here, was described by the band as "our brother".
Indeed. Surely "Eye Of The Tiger" and "Burning Heart", classics both, would be worthier of a mention...
The same article a few lines down: "The band are best known for their 1982 hit The Eye of the Tiger which pre-dated Jamison joining the group." Read, people. Read.
Survivor have had a few lead singers over the years, so I don't think he will be missed. sorry fellas, I did look for a done one thread, but couldnt find one. TY for moving it mods
His family may disagree. "I'm really missing dad but nevermind..... I know, I'll stick Eye of a Tiger on, I know dad didn't sing that one but hey it'll cheers me up & make it feel like he's never been missed." Merge. You're going a little FT Patty.
