We have pace to burn now. (Elmo, Robertson, Ben Arfa and Hernandez just for starters) Nothing scares a team more than real pace added to talent. I can see us being a bitch to defend against and the likes of Jelly have a tonne of room to work in all of a sudden.

He always picks up little injuries that stop him having a good run. If he can stay fit then he could be a good player. I just hope Hull fans give him more time then some Saints fans.

A fully fit squad looks very good on paper. But at any time we could pick up injuries and then suspensions are likely by the time we get to winter. Add in the fact that Ban Arfa and Ramirez can't play against their parent clubs and more then likely any Cup games. All I see Bruce doing is giving himself plenty of options on formations and quality personnel in those formations. Don't forget last season our 2 most influential players stayed fit - we might not be so lucky this year.
Plus it put a extra bit of pressure on the squad knowing that if you don't preform there somebody waiting to take you place, having a strong bench to me is important.
