For me you can stick 3 at the back up your arse, we ain't got the players for this and this country is not hot like Brazil the opposition will run all day and over run us at the back.
Can't see Rio not starting - Ned can provide cover on the right, but I would imagine a loan RB is on the way to add to the striker we were expecting
And when exactly is this loan coming in? The window for PL clubs closed last night... Also, seems odd to let Simpson go given there is no cover, other than Ned (who's best position is CB.)
That's when we revert to playing three at the back and call in SWP to play right wing-back. Where's Luke Young when you need him ............
I do think that if Isla gets injured, we'll see either SWP or Phillips playing RWB in a 5-3-2 or 3-5-2. Which is a touch daft.

Really rate Ned however Rio and Caulker would not be dropped. Scary thing is if with revert back to a back 3,can see Hill playing in front of Ned, due to Harry believing Ned has no left foot

For the majority of games we will have the minority of possession so they would be a bit of a luxury as starters....fact of life is we are going to win most points through hard work, closing down and the occasional injection of pace Phillips a decent back up to Vargas The rest of the 2nd string other than McCarthy are not really prem quality ie Dunne, Hill, Henry, Zamora, SWP etc which is a bit of a worry.....the lack of striker back-up is especially concerning
That's my team and formation, Canada. But I think Harry will go with Phillips or Kranjar before Hoilett.
