I tried to do a count of how many players City have over 21. I made it 26 with yesterday's additions. Anyone else want to have a go? Robertson I made the only one on City's site in the squad under 21.
I might be wrong but I don't think Maguire needs to be registered for the Premier League squad because he turned 21 after the 1st of January this year. If someone does have to go to make space in the squad I'd imagine he'd go out on loan until January.
Personally I'd let go Bruce, Quinn and Aluko. But you have to balance that with what wages players are earning and if anyone is interested.
Just thinking if Boyd is worth £3m then Aluko is worth £5m. Although his injury record will effect his value.
Don't forget Brady has two goals. I should imagine at the moment he is not on the "out" list. Bruce is backup for the centre backs, he could go out perhaps but with a recall clause in the event of injuries etc.
would hang on to Quinn had my doubts about him at this level but he's proving me wrong, on his present form he'll do a job for us, plus over the last 12 months the two new loan lads have not had much game time and will need a month or so to get up to speed.
Agreed, I think at the moment Bruce would be reluctant to let Quinn go out. Mind you it depends what crazy loan fees get offered our way, I suppose...
Definitely Brady should be kept. He's our only real out and out left winger. Good option at left wing back and if we're chasing a game a option at left back.
I think the signing of Ramirez probably signals the end for one of them, even if it's just for this season.
Logically you'd want to get keep Brady. Play more positions and younger. But then you take into account wages and player wises.
Brady won't go out, he's already proved he's too good for the championship and he's a player who can change a game off the bench. Quinn is a strong possibility. Is McShane allowed to go on loan? I guess it's not selling him is it..
this is a bit odd for me to say but I feel like we should sell Aluko. I've always liked him but I feel like his departure wouldn't disrupt things too much. Someone like Meyler leaving would.
