Kevin Keegan talk

Anyone going tomorrow or have people been to these kind of events before? Don't know what to expect but £30 for 3 or 4 course meal, stand up comic and Keegan. It's on at Ramside hall near Carville, hopefully it should be a good night

 

if it's a Graham Forster one (think it is) half the time he will be trying to peddle 'memorabilia'.
Went to see Beardo in Consett and was a good night when he was on though. I asked him the following questions (answers in red):
1- What do you think if Shola? - He's ****ing ****e - a right lazy ****
2- Will Will Shearer every make the grade? - he's being held back from NUFC a while by Alan as he doesn't want him in the spotlight YET
3- Is Ashley a clueless owner? - He's a top bloke who does care about the club but it was in a **** state when he took over

It was funny seeing him swear as much as I always thought he was whiter than white.

At the third question (not many were being asked) he did ask me if I was '****ing Bamber Gascoigne or summat' - I said- 'no just his two nubile daughters'!

 

I can imagine Keegan will have one of his rants about Ashley and there will be people asking him about the 35 million that he said we would never see (so far he's right) the stand up is Kevin Connelly who does impressions of footballers and managers. I'm looking forward to it, took Friday off work so I'm not too fussed about waking up with a hangover.

 

Definitely have a rant about Ashley! Tell us what happens later. I always like hearing this sort of stuff... especially without paying *cray laugh*

 

I take it Shola wasn't in the audience. That would have been a laugh.

 

I've been to one or two talks but not one of Graham Forsters like Albert's Chip Shop said! The last one I went to was done by the NUST with Rob Lee! Seems pretty similar though! I had a great night, with a lot of merchandise auctioned and had it was a generally really good night! Rob Lee was a great guest, and I imagine KK will be too! Have a good time mate!!

 

The truer irony was that he was sat there, in his training gear (just been training the kids) and a full two months before he was promoted to reserve boss.... where he had even more contact with..... you've guessed it

 

I had a short chat with Supermac at the New Hartley Fair recently, on the day we signed Marveux. I asked him what he thought of him and he said he hadn't a clue who he was. Then I asked what he reckoned to N'Zogbia, said 'never go back' but that he was badly treated by Kinnear (who he considers the worst thing to happen to NUFC in recent years), said everyone in the squad was complaining about Zog being played out of position.

 

he was asked about ashley by this bloke an his reply was IM NOT HEAR TO SPOIL YOUR NIGHT TALKING ABOUT HIM AN I WONT SPOIL MY NIGHT BY TALKING ABOUT HIM EITHER. but to be fair it was a great night an a right good laugh
