All reports I've seen suggest it is 346k a week - £6m loan fee and £18m a year in wages. £24m loan plus what ever fee to make him permanent at the end of the season, if thats the option https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news...ited-move-dream-come-true-213552959--sow.html Players moving for the wrong reasons to Utd #cash
so why is it calling you so much grief Skylarker, its not your club paying it He is way out of your range anyway
Sorry mate but I completely disagree. I don't know how to stress this enough, but have you really forgotten the pain of watching them in midfield last season? Carrick and Fletcher are finished. Carrick in particular mentally and in terms of confidence is gone. Fletcher cannot make a forward pass (sideways or backwards every time). He can't tackle anymore. And he gives the ball away every time, which hinders our attacks and exposes our defence. Cleverley is a decent player but one who couldn't handle the pressure of playing for United. He'll actually be very good at somewhere like Villa or Southampton.
It is like saying the sun is hot. ****ing obvious. Who the **** is worth 300k/week. He was being paid this at Monaco ? Would he have gone there without that? Would United have got him without that? So united just go for second and third tier players because they don't have CL ? You said that no top player will come to United irrespective of money because of lack of European footie. You've changed your tune.
Green eyed monster. can't blame them really. When they have to replace the sewer rat with tagliatelle and claim that theyve got a stronger team...
Monaco get away with dodgy tax so can pay players higher wages. To match his 200k take home, you'd have to pay him over 300k.
With you having witnessed Fergie's sides for twenty plus years, you'd have thought you'd have understood the word team a little better
180k a week He certainly hasn't come to win trophies. So if he was earning £300k at Monaco - he must have come for the extra money. He'll be 29 after the loan, a loan which in total will cost £24mil for one season. Then you have the chance to buy a 29 year old for about £50mil - making the total £74 mil for a 29 year old that has just had a major injury. Rather you than us No news yet anyway, which seems strange??? Failed medical?
Where did I say he was moving for the money? He's obv moving because France is **** league and his best mate just got sold and he's fed up of playing for a crowd of 10k when he could go to any club in the World and play in front of 70k each week. Do you think he would have come for a paycut though? My answer is I highly doubt it!
You've not said what we get in return for that £24m? Or if we can afford it? Focus only seems to be the money which smacks of having nothing else to say. Do you believe he isn't a great player or one that (along with our other signings) could get us back in the Top 4? Because that is the reason the club have taken him on loan.
