When the deal with Liverpool didn't happen we should have told him to sign a new contract or fxxk off. We left it in his hands and now we have two strikers both unproven (I don't count Zamora he can't play a full game). At least if we had done this with Remy we gave ourself a chance of getting another striker in and I think we actually needed two in with Remy gone. Just hope Austin don't get injured or we might have to play Green up front.
Yep we did really well without Charlie last year!!!.............................. Vargas is unproved and really a Number 10 which we now have 5 of!!! Yes pray Austin learns quickly and does not get injured.
I've heard that Green has put a few into the nets in the past. Probably fair to say that as a club, we only know how to do it tough ................. so were used to it by now.
I won't argue the sentiment but it doesn't quite work like that, cutting off your nose to Spite your face. If you ask him to sign a new one he'll tell you he wants to wait until nearer the end of his contract and your just not play him because of that, let him sit at home while your paying him or are you saying pay up the contract !
