Seeing the picture of Sandro in a QPR shirt on SSN, I think I can see where people at the club were coming from with him being more concerned with his "beast" image

Ridiculous about Wellbeck. They've had all day plus some and they ask and get an extension.

 

Tbh he did seem more concerned about his twitter and facebook image than on the pitch.

 

Dawson, Holtby, Sandro all showed some passion and now gone. Gutted about Sandro. If I wake up tomorrow and find out Lennon's gone then even worse. Good night.

I can't believe why you'd sell Sandro for 6mil - he was your steel in midfield.

If I were a Spurs fan I'd be ****ing fuming.

I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest that we may miss Sandro more as a personality than as a footballer.

Fine player at his best for us and undoubtedly a character well liked by players and fans alike but will he ever come back from his injuries to show the fine form he displayed for us at his peak? Replacing him with Stambouli and making a £5.3 million profit in the process could be astute, especially if its a case of Pochettino wanting the Frenchman rather than Sandro due to differing attributes on the pitch. Never nice to see a fan favourite like Sandro in another shirt but you can't keep everyone.

 

That's funny - I never noticed him playing with his phone whilst he was on the pitch. I just noticed his fully-committed performances.

Don't know how or why people are starting to say that someone doing a few Facebook or Twitter updates means he can't be concentrating on his game.

We see players behavior for 180 minutes a week max. Then a few people also read a bit of social media and think they have an idea about someone's entire life. Amazing.

 

We need to concentrate 100% on the Europa league now as there is not a chance in hell we will finish in the top 4

Another transfer window ends with us having made a profit. Looking forward to another scintillating attack on those Europa League places! Gonna be tougher than ever this year what with at least 6 teams having better players than us. But if we all pull together and hope that Soton or Newcastle or Swansea don't have good seasons then we could well get 7th!

 

This window makes me feel the same way as the one when we signed Dembele and Dempsey, VERY deflated.
