If you took today in isolation, the reaction is ludicrous, from myself included. It's crazy negative that we're beeling at losing a tantrum-throwing fatty and a defensive liability. But this is why Pardew should not be allowed to continue, this in a microcosm is exactly what the problem is. Yes, it's a struggle under Ashley, yes the frugality is frustrating to a point of madness, but knowing that this unambitious and limited squad will be coached by that smug, thick, cockney tw@t for the foreseeable is an absolute killer.

 

I find it strangely ironic that I've finally cracked and fallen onto the 'Pardew Out' side in the very transfer window when we actually signed 9 players! Hmmm.

 

Honestly, I don't know why I feel so utterly out of love with the club, but I absolutely am. I know I won't be able to truly switch off, but I'm going to find it increasingly difficult to remain interested. Why would I need to bother, what's the point?
