Always got the feeling we only bought him to ensure that Suarez was happy and stayed after we didn't make the CL in his first year. The big European clubs were sniffing round after that first six months. We took a punt cause he had a decent reputation and keeping Suarez was worth more to us than the fee we paid for him. I see this loan as a way to get clubs interested in him to make it a permanent transfer

Toure is staying. Ilori and Wisdom will hopefully be ready to take over in a year. Maybe Coates to, we'll see.
