Well said campionii, I'm loving it as are all Swans Fans. I'm particularly enjoying the fact that our success is irking 'the special ones'
Do you honestly think any Swansea team from any era under any manager ever took to the pitch thinking "**** trying to win today"? You really think that?
You're sticking up for me Swanselona? Now I'm scared Your earlier reply could apply to me too Terror - apart from the fact I thought we'd get thumped by United but I wasn't alone in that. Plastic makes sweeping statements like: "the usual suspects change things after the event." Based on what? Who are these "usual suspects"? Speaking for myself I've given credit where it's due and I know you have too. If we lose we lose, but if it's due to poor tactics or bad subs then yes I'll say so. If it's down to being beaten by a better team then that's fair enough. Then there's ****ish throwaway comments like "stop expecting us to fail." No evidence of that either, and I AM enjoying the ride though this guy is severely testing my patience with things like "you don't seem happy" and "It's our best start for 91 years. .... I just can't see how that isn't good enough for some people." Has anyone here said they aren't happy with our start? No. Has anyone here said that said start wasn't good enough? No. Note to plastic: 1:THINK about what you say before pressing the 'Post' button. 2: Did the person I'm having a go at actually say the things I'm alleging? If yes, press button. If not, think again. 3: Generally, stop trying to get a rise out of posters. You've been banned once for it. If you do the above you'll get less of a reaction but I suspect that's what you're after. You're Not DragonPhil are you?
There was little doubt before the United match that we were playing an excellent in form team. If we beat Chelsea and then they draw/lose the next two I expect you to claim that they are in disarray, having a bad run, have injuries, add excuse here. I expect something from the match and I suspect Monk and the team will be playing for 3 points. Chelsea aren't invincible. They have quite a leaky defence at the moment.
Why don't you point out which part of my post was "vile"? The closest anyone's got to "vile" is your assertion that I am a "clown". Care to point out what exactly it is I said in my post which would warrant you calling me a clown? If you cannot manage to answer either question satisfactorily then I would suggest it is fairly obvious who the "vile clown" is here.
" There was little doubt before the United match that we were playing an excellent in form team." What happened after we played them? The evidence suggests otherwise.
You can tell if someone is unhappy or not without them having to tell you. Anyway, that's the debate over until after the Chelsea match. Let's see what everyone has to say then.
We beat an in-form team. The lost confidence and we gained confidence. How do you define an in-form team? I think hey won about 6 in a row pre-season. That is in-form to me. If they were in such disarray, how did they manage to win all those matches?
**** me this forum is incredible. Why can't posters just respect the fact that others have a more "feet-on-the-ground-realistic" approach without vilifying them for it? You'd swear we were bottom the way people behave here. Why call someone a "vile clown" because they hold that view? ****ing pathetic.
So you are now telling me what I will think and post in the future....and that is the substance of your arguments? You expect something from the match so you will be disappointed if we don't get anything? So if we had a series of games against the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Everton and Spurs you would expect something from all of them and would be calling for the manager's head I presume if we lost 7 straight games on the trot and were hovering around the relegation zone? That reasonable is it? Ring any bells....
I'm not sure why you keep thinking I'm referring to you. I haven't mentioned you at all as far as I can remember. Not sure either what that list is for. But yes I'd expect some poit from that lot. I doubt we'd lose all 7. Maybe you just use this as a coping mechanism to avoid disappointment. I can take disappointment and move on quickly. Each to his own. If it works for you, fine.
You don't need to be psychic to tell if someone is unhappy. I'm sure you can spot an unhappy person. There are very few people that can't.
I think your a little confused TB, what made you think I was referring to anything you posted? do you think I think you're a clown? If so, not my problem. Read the thread TB, I wasn't referring to you, not sure why you think I was.
It followed on from my saying there are games which we will target.... you responded that we will be targeting 3 points from Chelsea and you expect something from it... Christ this is tedious. No hard feelings Plastic but I'm finished with this debate. Stumpy. I'm awaiting your response with great interest.
