Obika sale to Swindon confirmed on the OS. Unfortunate or silly in not making it into the seniors as Kane has ??
If its really £6 mill then thats a snip if you can get him fit and keep him in that state, but that is the root of his problems. I very much doubt he'd go for just £6 mill though. I think we'd all expect at least double that, If £6 mill is really the case the Levy has been Levy'd.....
Off the pitch quality, a real character. On it, a good defensive player but injury prone and a bit reckless.
Not surprised we're getting shot of Sandro, but am surprised he's off to QPR. Never saw that coming, even with the Redknapp connection. No way he'll be as cheap as £6 million, though. Some hack is having a laugh with that one.
Cheers for the info fellas, he sounds a good prospect. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/spurs-accept-6m-bid-from-qpr-for-sandro This site is always spot on with its info. But maybe 6mill is a basic price, and there are various unrevealed add-ons
I'm another Spur who's confused as to why we're selling him. I can only assume it's his injury problems. I know that O.S. alluded to a possible attitude problem, but he seems to give his best on the pitch. I hope Levy and Pochettino know what they're doing. But, I guess with the signing of Stambouli, they feel he's surplus to requirements.
I will be fuming if we sell Sandro for £6m. Other players have been given the chance to prove their fitness. The club stuck by the likes of Kaboul and Ledley during their injuries, I fully believe Sandro is equal to either of them when at his best, it would be such a shame to lose such a gem of a player purely on the basis of 18 months unfortunate injuries.
Disappointing for us but Redknapp again proving to be a master in the transfer market. Sandro will at least get to play under a manager he has respect for and Redknapp won't stand for any attitude problems so maybe this is what Sandro needs to get his career back on track.
Have we bought of sold anyone? I've been a bit busy, having found the nude pics of Jennifer Lawrence...
Yep he's no way on Ledley's level but similar to Kaboul. This could be the ****test transfer deadline day ever for us.Selling players I am fond of for not much and buying no one! The icing on the cake would be to wake up tomorrow morning and see that we have signed Welbeck! I know Benny has gone downhill the last year or so but I never remember him playing as poorly as rose did yesterday against the top teams. He makes the occasional error but his general play wasn't as poor. So I would be sad to see him go as well. At 30 if he gets his head right he could have 4 years at least playing at a good level.
That £6m figure should have a 1 in front. A fully fit Sandro would have a 2 in front. Gutted to see him go, best DM in the league when fit, arguably Europe.
Assou-Ekotto leaving is just sensible all round. He's just not going to play for us any more, so there's no point in keeping him. Selling Sandro and buying someone that I'd never heard of is far more annoying. Stambouli's going to be under immediate pressure via a comparison to him and we're losing a good player. Holtby's going on loan, so we don't gain anything there, and there are lots of rumours about totally unexciting signings.
