Sky Sports News - Maybe the signings aren't exactly as expected?

I noticed that, maybe he didn't sign after all and is why it took so long. Also strange that a paper managed to report Jack Hobbs having a medical, but failed to spot Paul McKenna in the same building (assuming that they had the medical at the same time I suppose).

 

I think the third signing is me.. yes, I've scored 5 goals in 7 seasons, I'm crocked and quite old.. this moved me ahead of Adebola in the pecking order..

 

I'm available on a free, 6"3 and I'm only 23 years young. And we really do need a goalkeeper. I'll play for £1k a week. Actually, if they offered the position to me, I'd play for nothing.

Surely NP knows he can do better than Adebola in the loan market even? Hobbs we know, fine, McKenna, yeah ok he's not 'exciting' but we need a player of his type.. Adebola? I won't moan if he's given a year's contract on smallish wages..

We need a plan B, that's what Dele Adebola is. Our plan B last season was to lose. So at least this is a more positive approach. Besides, he hasn't even signed yet. If he does, let him play before passing judgement. because he might be 36, but so was Dean Windass (who we actually signed from division 2 at the time).

If we do sign Adebola, I'd imagine it's because Adam Pearson, Nigel Pearson etc. wants him here, otherwise they wouldn't sign him, would they? ****ing hell.

TBH i would like us to sign him would come cheap and would add something we dont have in the squad, an ability to be a handful in the opposition box especially against tiring defence getting into the last 20 minutes or so and allow the likes of Fryatt, Simpson, Stewart and Koren to get a few late goals from him being a nuisance
