Pochettino has tried to sign Jay Rod & Welbeck (could still happen). If he had his way they would be in the team with Chadli. Maybe we should just let him sign whoever he wants as that way at least when he fails there will be no excuses made.
Ribery's injured but they're fairly balanced. Lewandowski, Muller, Ribery and Robben are their main attackers and Shaqiri, Gotze and Pizzaro are the main backup players, I can see them all getting games, especially Gotze and Shaqiri as Muller is probably their second choice striker.
Makes sense to me. If you're dumb enough to take him on loan, you're dumb enough to fork over millions to do it.
The Welbeck signing has echoes of when we signed Frazier Campbell in return for Berbatov a few years ago. They are similar standard in my opinion. Is this what Levy meant by 'Echoes of Glory'?
"Transfer Deadline Day while recovering from a horrific bout of food poisoning. This'll be fun" Diving to the loo just as SpursOfficial confirm the signing of Messi.
I wasn't watching the game yesterday, yet still managed to spend ten minutes chundering at the exact same time we forgot to mark Sterling...
The moment we've all been dreading has come, Jon Obika has left the club on a permanent deal, joining Swindon Town. The footballing Gods rain **** upon us.
A Sandro loan could make sense. Still get the impression that he's not 100% and so a move to a Prem side to build fitness, match sharpness and to show Poch just how good he is could be ideal.
Sandro is outstanding (when on form) but I agree with Sherwood (who looks to have been proved right, again) regarding Sandros attitude and this silly "beast" rep he has. Outstanding player and superior to Capoue but he needs to sort out his attitude and move away from the joker tag or he will end up being a cult figure like Ekotto who fades away and doesn't fulfil his potential.
