Sky reporting odds on Southampton being next destination for Fabio Borini have shortened??
Apparently Sunderland have given up on him as well.

@South_Saints We are still looking to sell Artur Boruc today. It's possible that he could be loaned out. Boruc wants to leave. #saintsfc
No clue if this is ligit or a lot of rubbish twitter feed.
Sure one of you will know and it's in English
Leicester are in for Nick Powell on loan.
Borini would leave us with a great selection of strikers to choose from. Wouldn't see him as a starter though, especially if Long starts banging them in.
If we sign Borini on a permanent, it would suggest to me that the board know that Jayrod has made up his mind and we'll get him fit, then flog him for as much money as we can get.
Kristof Terreuer - Journalist for leading Belgian paper HLN:
"Next Belgian transfer will be confirmed soon: Toby Alderweireld on loan to Southampton. #saintsfc"
with our sales, not an issue for us though ?
That guy who wrote that article a month or so ago told us this would be the plan. Swell the wage bill with loans which we can cover with money not spent on transfer fees. Then next season we have our wage bill +4m as a starting point.
i.e. if we reached £54m wages last season but then got in £100m transfers we spend half of that on loanees wages and get up to say £65m in wages. Next summer we can then buy players and have a wage bill of £69m which would put us ahead of all the other 7th to 17ths in the league by a fair margin and give us an advantage.
Why can we do this and other teams not? Because other teams that would need to do this haven't got that spare £100m floating about to cover it.
That article is turning out to be spot on with the business we are doing.
