Wise move. As we heard last night, he won't be back until January. I swapped him out yesterday afternoon too. :D

Price is dropping for Giroud. Half a dozen of us used him last week. He's still selected by 15% of players.

Lads, the fantasy football I do at work only allows very few transfers throughout the season. I've started with Ben Davies and John Stones in but neither are playing currently. I want to replace one of them with Clyne but not sure which.

Is Rose likely to stay first choice for the foreseeable future based on performances or do you expect Davies to replace him fairly soon?

    Cheers <ok>

Davies will get games in the league but he might have to wait awhile. Rose tends to pick up a few knocks during the season and it might allow Davies to cement his place. Don't really know about Stones but as they have a smaller squad I'd assume Stones will get more games as the Europa League starts. Not sure Everton will get many cleansheets this season though.

I'm not Rose's biggest fan but admittedly he's looked a far cry from last season and has started this campaign very well, so Ben may need to bide his time for a few weeks/ months.

Rose will be hard to shift, now he is beginning to show the form he had before his toe injury last season,it's improved so much he's made the England squad

Anyone know Costa's fitness level? I read somewhere he's struggling for the Everton match...

Even though I've used my free subs for the week, I'm contemplating whether or not to stick one of Lukaku or Eto'o in my team, surely one of them is bound to score against Chelsea?!

How we all doing so far this weekend?

Howard. He's officially the worse goalkeeper in the history of fantasy football. Me and 25% of the population selected him. 5% have transferred him out recently. He's next on my list to go.

Good job I brought Rooney into the team! Grrrr... Austin - that player I recommended - the boy done well this week... and I put him on the bench. <doh>

Ivanovic and Sigurdsson continue to provide decent points. <ok>

Used my wildcard now the window has shut, gone for a little revamp too.

    Now currently have:

    Krul
    Hutton, Ivanovic, Moreno
Sigurdsson, Eriksen, Lamela, Sterling (C), Fabregas
    Diego Costa, Falcao

    Subs: Myhill, Naismith, Wisdom, Dummett

Debating whether to make Fabregas captain though instead of Sterling.

I think the players hate me and know when I've put them in my team.

I'm putting Chadli in this week. Just wait and see...

    *tumbleweed*

We're about a quarter of the way in and it's my understanding that we can boast on this thread.

I've gone from the worse player to the 3rd best player in October. On a scale of 0-10, just how scared are you of my numbers?

Seriously, any players you've been surprised about so far?

I'm surprised Kompany has scored me so little (23 points over 9 games), even our old Dawson scores higher.

I'm surprised Austin has taken this long to start firing them in. Will it last?

Sakho and Pelle have surprised me with their goal returns, Berahino has had a great start too. Dier is statistically the 8th best defender so far thanks to his early goals, I didn't even expect him to play much so early on in his career for us so he's done brilliant.

Apart from that, I think it's pretty much business as usual, most of the best players from last season are back at (or near) the top so there's not been any major surprises for me.

I'm glad I've got Siggy and Bony. Quite some partnership they have.

Just subbed Weimann out of my team. Expect him to score five in six soon...
