What's new? It's been like this every single deadline day since this site started. Full of lurkers ****ing over rumour threads , it'll be back to normal tomorrow I'd imagine
Seems you're right, come to pick up some personal items. Valdes on a free would be good, providing his wages aren't too high. Edit - sorry didn't see your post either Astro
Site went bye bye for a couple of hours, working now, happened straight after the Falcaohoof loan was said to be happening so must be him tinkering
The 2 strikers they've got are ****e according to you, so he's a massive benefit by your own warped logic, you helmet.
Guillem Balague has claimed "Falcao agents insist he's been bought €65m for 4 years. Loan deal first for FFP reasons?"
If he's an addition the team is even more unbalanced. If he's a replacement then they have up to £500,000 of striker wages on the bench each week and all for nothing when Falcao leaves and their current strikers have zero value. They are spending £140m this window to put themselves in a position where they are guaranteed to need to spend another £100m or so next summer too. You know Tobes is wrong when he instantly resorts to name calling
Wasnt quite sure on the FFP point, when does it kick in for us as I know we were exempt this year as we werent in Europe. United have spent a crazy amount this year so would guess there gonna have losses this year.
Falcao can only improve a squad surely? He was world class before his injury, nothing to suggest he won't be after. They need defensive signings more but I doubt this signing was made at the expense of other potential transfers. Any other signings they do or don't make today won't be related to this one. BBC are also reporting the deal will include the option to buy at the end of the season.
But its improving them in the wrong area. I also feel Rooney and Van Persie have every reason to be a it pissed off about this deal. They are United's 2 best players and 1 is about to be replaces. Falcao wont be their sliding in a heroic last minute tackle to save his team from conceding. Or organizing his back 4 (4,2,1 or 0), leading at the back. Also at 29, and when coming back from an injury things can be very unpredictable. Falcao is only human. Torres wore out younger than he did. and what about his wages. £200m? more?
No mate. Never did. Kept escaping my mind. I'll try and remember to ask next time I speak to him. It won't be today, though
