Yesterday we had Can, Couthino & Markovic on the bench....all valuable potential game changers. All seriously challenging for a starting place. Add Lallana to that and it's obvious that we've strengthened no end from a squad perspective. Am looking forward to how they all work out this season. It's still going to be tough to get top 4 imo but I like the direction that Rodgers is trying to take us.

I do think that a decent DM and GK are missing pieces. Would prefer the former on deadline day today!

Very good squad now, especially when everyone is fit and settled in at the club. Definately a good enough squad to add CL fixtures to our schedule.

On deadline day - Can't see us getting anyone, which isn't a big deal for me. We've done our business. I can see plenty of players going out, especially on loan. I expect some kind of movement around Borini, hopefully a £14mil move to Sunderland!

In the perspective of a comparison to Moses and aspas yes we have but those players also all need to prove themselves and even push for thier own slot in the starting 11

I think things will become clearer over time

Sadly we do have "decent" players at dm and gk.... Sorry but Lucas and jones are "decent" but to be a top 4 side and challenge decent ain't enough we are having to join wenger and only buy koale tea from here

Dm has few available options today, in 12 months there could be a big buy though depending on our position

Gk? I dunno I don't favour buying young anyway. I'd rather buy Hugo lloris than anyone ha ha

Injured before leaving Barca wasn't he? Solid keeper though and at the highest level. I'd welcome his signature....still only 32 so in theory, in his prime. But we don't have to sign him today. Am still hoping that we have one more surprise up our sleeve! :bandit:
