Geoff Twentyman must really be getting fed up of football He would never be missing for any football seasons games His GTT shown now reduced after Saturdays games and finished at 6pm on 30 august BBC radio nottingham will be on air from 2pm till 6pm While our bunch will pack up at 17:30pm I think our bunch think we are home to Notts county On the BBC Bristol schedules it should state Notts County v Bristol City although it says Bristol City v Notts county
I know we like to engaging in banter with the blue half, but the BBC decision not to cover their games is fundamentally wrong. Yes I know they are out of the football league, but it shows a lack of understanding about how football fans think - no-one will stop becoming a fan. It's clear that someone who is making the big decisions at BBC Bristol has a lack of football knowledge which impacts on all of us.
No impact on me but I do think a non league football section would be good, lots of teams there worthy of a mention, not just billy big bollocks parading in blue..
But Wiz it does impact on us - if they start reducing the time slots (as NTTDS says the 6pm finish on the 30th) then we are on less as well? I guess what I'm trying to say is that someone at the BBC does not like football?
Don't think they can, do Rovers it's something to do with broadcasting rights ain't it? I don't think they can do it because the BBC have no rights only BT Sport I could be wrong but that's the way I thought it was.
Radio Bristol has been going downhill ever since Tim Pemberton took over from Jenny Lacey as Managing Editor in Spring 2006. Poor programming, scheduling, choice of presenters: you name it, he's cocked it up!
Roger Malone was the subject of a lot of songs and piss taking from fans during the era he commentated on us.
Was looking at the JPT fixtures on the BBC website, and was looking how far teams were from each other in the Northern ansd Southern sections. Idiot has put all the Northern teams in the Southern section and vica versa. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/fixtures
