So glad I chose the Everton v Chelsea game for the bonus goals! I was teetering on the edge with that decision for a while.
Well a strange week this week and to have a chance of winning you would have needed the nine goals of the everton v chelsea bonus goals match. The gamble question played a big part as well with many playing and loosing 3pts. In the end we have 3 joint winners on 19pts and congrats to lamballana, hotbovril and sootysaint. Lamballana and hotbovril both had 22pts at one stage before loosing on the gamble. At one point i had relentlesssaintsupertramp as the weekly winner with 20 points but that was pased on 6pts for correctly predicting afc tottons 2-0 win and playing the joker to double up to 6pts. But then spotted RSS had played 2 jokers in his predictions as on the pompey game also and so i have removed the double points gained.. Lamballana and hot bovril correctly predicted saints 3-1 win and also played joker and sooty saint also predicted saints 3-1 win. The was only one team starting with B that won as was predicted well and of course those that gambled needed to have chosen Liverpool as first team to score to collect the 3 bonus points. all those choosing spurs lost 3 points. Had he not gambled those 3 points would have given him 41 for the month. Spuds stitched me up - how unusual for a Saints fan. No complaints from me I thoroughly deserve to lose out on the championship, I have shown no faith in Saints and haven't backed them to win in three games, shame on me and I accept my punishment.
