Beppe Sannino has resigned as Watford head coach with the side sitting second in the Sky Bet Championship table. Will he take over managers job at leeds ??? why leave a club in 2nd place ?? he is italian ?? 2 plus 2 makes 4 the next leeds manager i wonder ?? any thoughts ?
Your the 3rd to mention it tonight, but he has had problems with his team, bust ups all season.Think lots of players or him had to go.
A team being in second place after only five games is irrelevant. If season was half over, it might mean something. I know nothing of the guy at all so pointless in giving any opinion on him other than if he's given the gig, we may give him a bit of time to prove himself, probably three weeks or so
Try asking on the Watford board, and good luck with that. I get the impression they don't like visitors miserable ****ers
Just a bit of insight for you. He came in at Watford after Zola resigned. At that time he was free, and known to our owners, so some of us thought that he was a bit of a stopgap. It would appear that was correct, but he has done quite a lot that is good. We had a very leaky defence that he managed to tighten up. As far as the fans go he has earned respect. He does not have great experience at the higher levels of football, so judging by your last appointment he fits quite well. How good is he? Don't really know. The players that our owners have brought in are very good and should almost manage without a coach. I liked the man and tonight feel sad for him, but the spat with players is only part of the story I am sure. I guess he is quite tough and maybe could be just the man to deal with your owner. Not sure this helps, but thought I could add to your thoughts.
On behalf of the forum I would personally like to thank oldfrenchhorn for is insight into Sannino he may be just what Cellino wants or will he go for Grayson
Glory why ever not I have stated on numerous occasions he was a far better manager than most of the ones I have seen in 64 years and he loves Leeds
Satisfying his knob meant more to him than doing his job at LUFC. No thanks. Oh and we had a defence like a sieve. Not for me.
He's not the first and won't be the last person to have an affair. He did pretty well with us on the pitch and thats without the backing of Bates and selling our best players on a fairly regular basis. I think him and MC would do ok on the pitch and thats all i give a fk about really. Anyway, lets see who we end up with, you might well be wishing we had Grayson in a few weeks time.
