Doubt very much that he is on his way. Had a fitness test before the Lokeren game away & didn't play in that. Clattered into Chester in the Stoke game and then struggled on with the injury.
Davies decided sliding on the ground was the way to defend today, which is why his performance was rubbish and he was the right choice to take off.
Why would mancheater united want davies? Did you see him against trechin? utter ****e row z hoofer he could play for sjoke city.
Thought it was interesting that when Dawson was interviewed on arrival he talked about being very vocal, being used to a leadership role in the back line... and I wondered then how that was going to sit with Davies who has had absolutely that role for us up to now. Hope Bruce can get the best out of both of them.
A well thought out reply john better than these one season wonders on here. you've hit the nail oon the head. Aberdeen a great place to drink union street.
I did wonder long before this thread was posted, if Davies' head had been turned by interest in him. Just a feeling no evidence. It is highly unusual for him, the captain, to be taken off at half-time. Can you imagine Rodgers taking Gerrard off at half-time?
Yes, lets not judge him over the whole of last season, just the last few games. Good barometer... twat. We've seen that Davies has the quality, he's in a slump but the best players have them and he'll be right as rain soon enough when he plays behind a midfield who can help out every now and then
Did you not watch the game, davies was shocking! kept giving up possession, he just seems to struggle at villa and thats why bruce took him off!
