Didn't realise Jarvis was a smoggie, cracking player, but we need a left footer, if we are going right foot on the left, we have Sess. Tore us a new one twice last season, once off the bench, very, very good player indeed.
I could see Johnson as a possibility, the stumbling block is going to be his wages, now a loan? Well that might happen and it would certainly show nzog we don't necessarily need him. I think Downing will go to Liverpool, zog to Villa and we will get Welbeck but it might be on loan. If we don't get zog etc... Welbeck will play on the left and we will sign another striker. If we sign zog Welbeck will play up front and we will not sign a striker. We need a left footed left back in any case.
I hope Liverpool sign Downing for a huge fee because i don't rate Downing highly and i'd like to see Liverpool waste money on him. I hope we still have a firm interest in N'Zogbia, but i feel more and more strongly that he will not become a Sunderland player. In which case, we've missed out big. In a totally ideal world, we'd sign Adam Johnson. I think he's a terrific talent, excellent on either wing. Problem here is i can't see City letting him go and he'll be on wages we can't afford. Johnson is surely a no go, unfortunately. We've got to get a left footer on the left wing. If we opt for Bardsley and Sess on the left, i'll have to question the sanity of Bruce. How long have we needed some threat from the left wing.
