Well i usually wish leaving players good luck, but I wont be in this case.

Cant blame him for leaving or the club, but its the timing that stinks, not to mention the club he has joined.

Lets hope we get the right players in tomorrow. Seems strange we haven't really been linked with Peter Crouch this window.

He has given us a day (maybe two.... as Arry knew last night) to find a replacement....he doesn't seem to have been entirely open with Arry either

Mark my words..he will not thrive there...did you see the article in Times telling youngsters to stay at clubs where they will play footy and not go to big clubs as bench-warmers...aka Zaha, Rodwell etc
Remy didn't listen, he would have been better off at Arsenal, and far better of with us.....have a great season with us and you could go to a top club as a number 1 striker....not 3rd in pecking order as at Chelsea. idiot

Arsenal would have been a better move for him in most aspects but I think it's a very good signing for us and with Costa's hamstring problems + number of games we have to play Remy will get more game time than people expect.

Still find it strange that he didn't go to Arsenal.

No grudge from me, we knew from day one that he only signed on the understanding that we would let him go to a big club. That was built into his contract and there was no other way he would have even signed for us. Wish him the best and hope he gets some game time.

I'm not at work tomorrow and am hoping it will be an exciting day of players coming in. With both Remy and Simpson leaving, it would be great to see the right top signings to take us forward.

Re. Remy, gutted we never got more from him, and even more gutted he has gone to Chelsea.

Wonder if he will be a Shevchenko, Crespo, Torres, Kezman or any of the other top touted strikers that turned too pony once he signed for them.

Look at our own SWP. He was never the same after going to the scum and not getting proper game time. He was even warned by his dad not to do it but he did. That went well for him didn't it.
