Man U were joint top when we beat them. Anyway, I prefer the fact that we are a top 6 club. Top 2 in fact.
The swans have definitely improved as a team on top of individuals who are back to their best in their proper positions, Ki was outstanding yesterday and kept the midfield engine running, Dyer is now back terrorizing players with his speed down the right wing and drawing players towards him and the little terror keeps on going even if he loses the ball. Routs is another player with a new lease of life under monk who is as good as anyone at taking long range shots and hitting the target more times than not, Rangel had a solid game, one of his best for a long time but my MOM was that man Siggs again, his positioning was spot on and he was aware of every player around him and his flick on's and passing in the final third was brilliant. As for Bony he had a reasonable game but he really needs to hit the target more with him being a striker and i would like to see gomis start a game as he is not having enough time to get into the game properly and i want to find out what he can do from the start, Our defence stood solid and even Taylor had a better game but having said that WBA did not offer a great deal like someone like chelsea or man city would and that is what monk will have to work on over the next two weeks and maybe look closely how mark Hughes did things against man city yesterday as that was great defending. Chelsea will be a huge test for us but with the players we have then we should not be afraid and go there with a certain amount of confidence...

Thanks for that Taff. "11 things we’ve learnt from the season so far (August)" linked from that page was also good reading, cheers.
