    Predicted Starting XI:

please log in to view this image

Match Preview: The Gunners will be hoping for a more composed and relaxed performance than they have mustered in previous weeks, however with the way their opponents have started the season, Leicester City will once look to pose a threat to Arsenal. Having once again qualified for the UEFA Champions League after a grueling playoff against Besiktas, the Gunners will be looking to continue their forward momentum and keep their undefeated streak in the season so far going, especially with the return of Aaron Ramsey into the side. Meanwhile, Leicester will be hoping to channel the same spirit, energy and desire that say them come from behind twice against Everton in order to stifle the Arsenal.

    Prediction: Leicester City 0-2 Arsenal

There's no way both wilshere and Cazorla will be dropped for rosicky and Campbell IMO.

I think we are likely to see:

    -------Ramsey-----flamini------
    Oxocube/Cazorla--wilshere--ozil
    ----------------Sanchez-------

    Or potentially:

    ---Ramsey--flamini--
    Sanchez--wilshere--ozil
    ----------Sanogo-------

Or if wilshere is dropped Cazorla would play wide and ozil down the middle. But I doubt wilshere will be dropped after his good performance against Besiktas.

I like the physicality of ur midfield but can't see wenger going for it. As with u I'd love to see Campbell get a start to show what he can do

I dropped Wilshere because he's played 4 in a row and I'm sure Wenger will want to give him a break soon.

Starting 11 announced: Shez, Debuchy, Kos, Mert, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla, Sanchez, Sanogo

So Wilshere is finally benched, and Sanogo will lead the line, if he can't get it done at Leicester, then **** off about relying on him as a striker for the season.

Really looking forward to the game today. We've got a good team out despite already being without 4 starting players. And we have a very strong bench with podolski, oxocube, wilshere, flamini, Campbell who will all be raring to get game time as well.

I'm expecting a strong performance to settle the nerves at the club after some close results recently.

Despite not performing to the best of our abilities so far, we've won the community shield, qualified for the CL, got our first opening day win for years and took a point in a fixture we lost last season. So with a shaky start we are still exactly where we would like to be which for me is a good sign. Now though the players should be hitting some proper levels of fitness and the team should be starting to learn how the new players work. So I fully expect to see our performances improve over our next handful of games.

We did this and that so far, but over a whole season, we ain't going to make any major strides forward with this squad. It's simple, if we don't bring in at least 2 more players (striker and defensive player) then forget about dreaming big this year.

People said last year we haven't added what we needed to improve and we won our first trophy in years and had our first proper title challenge in years.

Whilst I agree we could do with more depth to the squad I'm not going to write us off if we don't sign the players I think we need. The performances might not have been great so far but we've done what we needed to.

I ****ing love the football. Thank god for arsenal! I'd be so bored right now if there was no football on haha

Today I've got some microwave uncle bens rice to do with chicken in white sauce, but I'm not all that hungry yet so might save it for after the game. Unfortunately I have no alcohol in the flat today! Grrrr

I do have a pack of chocolate digestives though that will probably be obliterated by half time...

You always have a chance in the cup, as for the league last year, everything most people predicted happened because of a lack of squad depth and the needed signings.

We will probably challenge again this year, only to falter off (as usual) come February-March because of a lack of needed signings. It's not like we're asking for the world, it's just 2 players in 2 very reasonable positions we need to improve on.

Hopefully today ozil takes up a central position with Cazorla drifting out to the left. I'm happy for them to rotate throughout the game to give the opposition something to think about. And despite ozil actually being a quality wide player as he has great close control and decent pace, I want him through the middle so we can make the most of his ability.

Just wait and see, :D Ill come here and tell u tolddddddd u so! That is unless we sign the needed players.

There's no chance in hell we winning the EPL with Sanago as back up, with all due respect to him, heck we don't even have Giroud for 4 months now. It was bad enough with Giroud as our main striker (not insulting him, but 1 main striker isn't enough) but now even no Giroud?

I think the first 20 mins will be important in this one. If we get an early goal I think we'll completely tear them apart. But if they give a good early account of themselves it could be another tight game.

Personally I think we will have too much for them and be at least a goal up before half time.

Oh I agree, I'd like another striker to help lead the line with giroud out. But I'm not going to write us off if it doesn't happen. Given the opportunities you never know who will step up to the plate.
