Excellent last 30 minutes...we were all over them. Brady made a huge difference coming on for Huddlestone who looked totally disinterested and needs to sit on the bench. Quinn and Robertson were outstanding and going to a back four with Rosenior changed the game. Too bad we were AWOL in the first half. Villa were all over our back three and Bruce must be admitting he made a massive mistake. Anyhow the real Hull City showed up in the second half and did us proud.
On the positive side of things... This. Hopefully Brucey will have a word about the long balls though, at one point it was getting ridiculous. So, to recap from this game: 1) No more route 1 long ball play. 2) Not every scoring opportunity has to be from a cross. 3) Brady shouldn't take corners. 4) Our defenders shouldn't have a higher pass completion rate than our midfield. 5) As soon as we go 1-0 down our fans magically turn into pessemistic ****s. 6) We're 3 games in, some of you need to unbunch your panties.
exactly , all he gets is floated ball from deep and is expected to do something with it . we need more pace in the supporting role from midfield - quinny will run forever but he isnt the man to back up Jelly . Aluko sadly hasnt proven he has the quality either , The pace of Hernandez will certainly help , but we got to land him first
