We've had 2 shots, 0 on target. Plenty of crosses though.

I wouldn't expect any different, although if we are being pedantic, a point is sole and not point(s) ;)

I think elmo should run horizontally across the pitch and put crosses towards the goal, more likely to score

Would much rather have seen this today. Just because 3 at the back works sometimes, it doesn't mean we have to use it all the time. Plus the opponents manager will see it coming a mile off.

    -------------McGregor

    Rosenior Dawson Davies Robertson

    -----------Huddlestone

    Elmo Meyler Livermore Brady

    -------------Jelavic

C'mon fellers we are terribly lacking up front. Jelly can't do this on his own, When we get the ball there is nowhere to go with just one bloke up front. We need two strikers not one.
We are playing backward football because we have no other option. They are closing us down well. Dawson looks a bit rusty but I think he will come good as he bonds with the team. They are on top of us at the moment so lets see what Steve and his team can come with in the second half.

    going 3 - 5 - 2 was great last season cos everyone was 4 - 3 - 1 -2, they werent expecting it, but 4 - 4 - 2 would be best now SB.

Someone said it earlier, our midfield trio worked really well because meyler was playing brilliantly in his role

him and livermore have been cack so far though this season

diame would be a stellar signing

    "Davies looks terrible and disinterested."

What is up with him? Seems like he would rather be anywhere than on a football field today.

International break can't come soon enough to get everyone re-focused.

Hope this isnt a trouble in the camp performance. Did Davies get his contract sorted? Nose put out by Dawson coming?

If one of our players had Agbonlahors chance they wouldnt shoot they'd knock it to the wing. Were scared to death of been near their box and taking some responsibility.

It cant get worse than the first half, if it does it could be 6 or 7.

Get Ince, Mcshane and Livermore off. Get Sagbo, Rosenior and Meyler on and go for it. Push further up the pitch and clatter that **** Delph

Can't think of who I would bring on off the bench to be honest. Meyler, Aluko had shockers last game.

We can still get back into it.
Hope Bruce has a word at half time, especially since he didn't try in the Europa to focus on the league! He will look a bit of a knob if we don't atleast get a point from this after Thursday.

    Desperately need a striker

Erm, yes. Slow, sloppy, giving it away at the back, disorganised, very little threat going forward, and lumping it 50 yards long down the throats of 2 of the tallest, yet slowest, centre-backs in the Premier League. If we don't try that one, it is the ball out wide to a wing back who tries to hit Jelavic with a cross from 40 yards out when he is surrounded by giants who are backed up by a couple of midfielders and a fullback tucking in, whilst our nearest players are still near the half-way line. Absolute garbage; got to be one of the worst performances from a Steve Bruce City side since Barnsley away
