Both us & Villa being unbeaten after 2 games is bizarre according to the goon on Sky.

I'd say holding that view is more bizarre considering who've we've played

With that team Id say a pretty dull match but we will grab a 1-0 win

"@anthonypears09: Looking at the Hull starting line-up, they seriously lack pace in most positions. Could cause them some problems. #avfc"

From a Villa fan on Twitter. Agree or disagree?

Villa have only had one shot on target all season.

We have real pace out wide and up front with Elmo, Robertson and Ince. Livermore and Quinn are reasonable in the middle and Davies can move faster than many at the back. I wouldn't say we're a slow team.

Obviously never seen our wingbacks before. Or Ince. Or Quinn. Livermore and Davies aren't slouches either.

This comes from the fan of a team with Senderos in the defence...

Last time we beat Villa... Rick Astley was number one. Since then we've lost 8 and drawn 1

Scrap that. Saw that on Twitter but Burnsy seems to know differently

Astley was banging out the tunes back in 1967?

I hate those type of stats, they are stupidly misleading and have no relevance to the match at hand.

We haven't even been in the same league as Villa for the majority of that time FFS.

I'm sure we beat Villa 2-1 in 1987. Stu Gray played for them, think it was first game of the season (or close). They'd just been relagated. As Nigel Spink ran towards bunkers, 2nd half, what seemed like the whole of bunkers were camply chanting "Nigel, Nigel, Nigel" with arms aloft & a repeating limp wrist gesture.

'67 was lat time we won at Villa
