TTSF, I'm not a fan of Redmond, however your statement is a little contradicting of itself. IF Redmond signs and IF Koeman has him blossom into a great player, how can it be bad business? Any player who signs and doesn't perform turns out to be bad business. So you either think it will be bad business or it won't be. It is ok to hop off that fence
High prices are being paid by all clubs with money...look at Liverpool and ManU. We are known to have money and need players...add in the fact that players haven't spent a lifetime dreaming of playing for us...and you have a 'being held to ransom' scenario.
I've said numerous times on here that I don't rate him (as backed up by the Norwich fan). I don't think he'll be a success. The point I'm making is i'd rather someone I don't rate who's young than someone I don't rate who is old because he's got the potential to blossom.
I'm still not sure why no team has taken Ben Arfa or Assaidi. I'd have loved us to go for one of them.
I get it now, but I was just leg pulling because it sorted of sounded like you were fence sitting. FWIW, I am not keen but he is still very young and maybe as you say, we can improve that final ball. Fingers crossed.
Yes, this basically. Sadly so as he could be a really great player. The French version of Ravel Morrison.
That may be so ( I don't really know much about his personality) but he is definitely a game changer and a player of international quality.
