I'd be bloody disappointed in you if you didn't support your team, but I just wondered what you thought.

I said when Fergie retired that, club rivalry apart, it would be fascinating to see where Utd go from there.
I think it was obvious from the word go that Moyes was the wrong man for the job, but I wasn't expecting quite such a shaky start from Van Gaal.
I suppose he's come in and seen what a poor squad (relatively speaking) he's inherited and made some sweeping changes and so that can often take time to work out.
I think the mistake he has to avoid is to think he can force a system on a team that aren't suited to it. The sign of a really good manager is flexibility, the ability to realise that he has to change a system that isn't working, no matter how much he likes it.
Of course I hope he ****s it up completely. <laugh>

3-5-2 is really not his prefered system (look at his history) he would love to play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 but with the players available to him at the moment feels the midfield and defence are lacking. Do you really think he has bought Di Maria to play as a wingback?

Do you REALLY think that'll happen now that he's got United's money behind him?

Yeah exactly mate. A howler but he'll learn from it and he's a cracking young prospect.

We were ****e btw kopites, clown defending but a great game for the neutral I reckon.

Eto'o showed he's still class and whats Naismiths odds for the golden boot? lol

This says it all di Maria did not play as a forward..... Suicidal decision

You are right get Herrera back and then push him to a free role.....but van Vaal will prob stick him rb next

Also it may be style but sitting on the bench all game never opening yet gob seems to be a trend now... Utd look rudderless

Can say the same about chelski..... E'tto is slow and muck and naismiths odds.... That's a good way to kill a bookie, go ask for the odds and they will die laughing at you.

And yeah great game for the neutral. All that was missing was mourinho being sent off

I was Impressed with you getting the goal before half time. After going 2 down in 4 minutes you stopped the rot then were right back in the game, second half was just crazy!

Unlucky though, ****ing hate the chavs.

We had them on the rack after halftime and they got that spawny deflected OG which have them a 2 goal cushion back totally against the run of play.

We won't come up against a better side than that all season though, they were very good in fairness but aside from the clown defending we matched them

i do agree you wont meet better but they defended poorly too as a few one twos cut them open which is unlike them..... so is conceding of set piece. As i said coming from behind suited your team.

The goals we scored were good goals, including the great header from Eto'o from the set piece.

Coming form behind suited us? Utter bollocks that. You gift Chelsea a goal in the first minute and then the Lino gifts them another in the 3rd and most teams would fold like a pack of cards and take a dry humping. We came back at them well and could easily have been back on level terms by the point they got that spawny OG

Great match to watch. But crazy to let them respond so quickly each time you got back into it. You got a solid team but I cannot see it getting into the top 4. 5th or 6th almost guaranteed.

it does suit your style. controlling a game from a lead is not your thing <whistle>

you enjoyed having nothing to lose and going at them.

you should have had howard sent off.... twice over.

Chelsea were very poor a tthe back, yes your goals were "good" but they exploited gaps at times which were very unchavlike that i doubt you'd have seen on another day v the same side.

We bossed Arsenal for 70 minutes the previous week, so your talking out your hoop again mate <ok>

Howard was lucky but probably deserved a break from that Lino after the shocking offside call for their second

The game was open we committed plenty of bodies forwards and we took our chances well, Mourinho didn't get the Routemaster out early enough

Only saw the second half, but what could have been had Miralles' header gone in rather than hit the post (or saved, tbf). Btw, is it true that if you called Goodison before the game and asked what time the kick-off was they said "Every ten minutes"?.... ( circa Liverpool 3 Arsenal 6, LC @ 8 years ago).
