Yeah always felt a bit weird the signing. From what I've seen of Taider he looked good, but CM was our strongest position and surely him going on loan is for him to get regular playing time so he can either improve and force his way into Inter's first team more often or impress enough to get a permanent move to another club. Was completely stupid having him come in to be 5th choice centre mid for us, so I think the right decision has been made for everyone letting him go to Sassuolo
Commentator on Sky just said that Taider couldn't get along with Koeman's standards of fitness. That agrees with what Koeman said recently that Taider wasn't fit enough to play and couldn't accept it. The other players have no problem, so I guess it is the fitness levels required for the PL that are the problem. Not being able to settle doesn't contradict that.
From K Billy on Saintsweb Bids are in for players but i have no names atm, also something might still happen regards cork or ramirez leaving.
I would hope not, both looked good when coming on today. Plus with Koeman saying no more out (except fringe players you'd assume) I would find it hard to believe.
He also mentioned Cork and Gaston specifically when he said they couldn't leave because our squad was too light. The only way that could change is if we get some super-duper players in, but remember the window closes very soon and they both played today.
Well I meant his inability to settle in the form of his being homesick, but the fitness thing seems just as feasible.
Arsenal allegedly agree fee for Schneiderlin. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/0...ay-fee-agreed-personal-terms-being-discussed/
Amusing article on so many levels. Written by "Mr Comfort". Probably the world's most respected sports journalist. At the start a £27M deal has been agreed. At the end, Wenger will push through the deal as soon as the offer is accepted. Hmm...
Koeman himself said that Schneiderlin wouldn't go, even if the bid did match the valuation. I'm fully prepared for him to leave next Summer, but with Taider gone, there is no way Schneiderlin can go, no way at all.
I can't see Cork, Ramirez or Schneiderlin leaving. I'd be disappointed if any of them left. They all played their parts in the last few games, just doesn't make sense for Koeman to play them if they're on the verge of leaving.
