So far in my toon save I've been given the toughest groups or toughest teams in knockout phase every season, but managed to pass inter.
Sacked as manager of Mexico, but took the Russian job and have a big task of getting them to qualify for the world cup, could of went to Italy but these have a shot of qualifying. I never lost with Mexico and still finished 2nd in my group, when I originally joined I was 7 points behind and I ended up 4 points behind. With Newcastle I am currently top of the league about 10 games in, main contenders being Chelsea or Spurs.

Signed Javier Hernandez for 4.6 mil! C'mon! Was transfer listed don't know if he was surplus or unhappy with the clubs performances.
He's scored 13 goals in about 34 appearances for them, don't know how many of them were sub appearances etc, but he's averaged a rating of 7.20 in all them seasons. My friend had him once and he was scoring over a goal a game.
He got sold on my save as well, something must happen to him on there as standard where he ends up leaving in his 1st/2nd season.
Not sure that's always true, same mate tried a barce game, and he had to pay 60 mil to get him. My mate rates him that highly. But it's good rotation for Gameiro and Sturridge seeing as I play Sturridge as an inside forward sometimes. He has 64 apps 53 goals at international level.
I think if he'd waited he might have got him cheap though, it's possible something happens where they let him go for cheap, he's at a mid table Italian team on mine.
