    Just in

Great result v WBA who were made to look very ordinary by some very good football from most for most of the game.

Fab -very confident. Back three were spot on (every player made a couple of mistakes but that will always happen) Rangel was outstanding.
Although Gylfi gained a lot of praise (and rightly so) again I thought KI jut pipped him for overall performance.
Routs & Dyer say no more, outstanding
Bony, made chances but also missed a few or at least missed the target. On the plus side it might make him less interesting to other clubs with too much money.
Another sloppy Shelvey performance although an improvement on last Saturday, he was lucky to have lasted until Carroll came on late in the game. Again, as on Tuesday, Carroll made space and linked well with players around him. With his inclusion we regained the shape and composure that had been upset in the second half.
Montero showed his strength and with a full back who can read him could be unplayable; the dilemma is then Routledge, Dyer or Montero? Also some nice interaction with the crowd in the East.

Another fall off in the second half but contained more comfortably than last week, another game where it was hard to decide what Taylor contributed.

We lost the ability to win high balls when Bony went off especially in our own penalty area.
Gomis got involved but didn't didn't have a great deal to show off. One shocking decision to shoot when Gylfi was in an excellent position ahead of him.

    Each goal was a peach.

IMO we s till need a DM (but that sounds less likely than ever) and a left back. Jazz must be wondering what he has to do to get a game!

    9 points from 9
And second to Chelsea on GD!!!! Hope they slow a bit when we play them 6 - 3!!!

Just in from a very enjoyable night - managed to grab a bit of sleep in the car on the way home so it may be the sofa :) At least I can turn the TV on from there to watch the repeat of MOTD in the morning.
