As fickle as the Real Madrid fans can be there were like 20,000 of them shouting don't sell Ozil at Bale's unveiling. The lad has something special but he has to be used correctly. Stick him at Number 10 - you rejected Fab because you had Ozil - use him in his best position. Simples.

Look guys - don't mess with Ozil. I like Cazorla and he had a great game on Wednesday, but I'm afraid he isn't in the same class as Ozil.

Ozil is a genius. He is so good, he wins games without looking like he is even trying. He makes everyone around him look better.

I believe that if we look at the stats for Wednesday night, Ozil will be right towards the top in distance covered, like he usually is. The fact he gets so much stick is a matter of impression and it doesn't mean anything. We need to get right behind him and support him, because he will take us to a title all on his own, he is that good.

Last season we took a nose-dive when he was injured and when he got run-down and worn-out. That wasn't a coincidence. Germany won the world cup with him. Here are some telling stats; Before the World cup final, Ozil led the German team in, most chances created, most dribbles completed and most passes in the final third. http://www.theequaliser.com/2014/07/13/mesut-ozil-world-cups-most-underrated-player That is with the World Cup Winners.

Now teams are going to react to that, and make an extra effort to stop him. They may manage to keep him quiet, but that will open up chances elsewhere. Don't assume that because he had a quiet game that he didn't contribute. Managers and Coaches know they have to watch him, or he will beat them on his own.

People are trying to make themselves look big by running down and disrespecting this shy, quiet, unassuming, brilliant genius. Time we all grew a pair as fans and stuck up for him.

The message we should be sending is, "He is OUR genius! Don't f** with him!"

I am starting to think that 27 ml Fabregas would be a better deal for us than 42 ml Ozil.

Fabregas wasn't available at the time so it's irrelevant now

People are going to eat there words on Ozil. He's already been far better than most are making out but he has ALOT more to give.

Like Mourinho's said. 'Ozil is the best no.10 in the World'.

He will show it this Season.

Not even close, really? You've forgotten how good Cesc was for us? Cesc is world class as is Ozil but as it stands, Ozil has a way to go to match Cesc was for us. No doubt Ozil has the quality to but he needs to score more goals to begin with.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ozil and Walcott in the starting lineup again.

Fabregas is a good player, but in almost every department you can evaluate him in you have to conclude he is second best to Ozil. Pace, dribbling, hold up play, vision, passing, movement, they are both weak defensively, but even there I would give the nod to Ozil; In all areas Ozil is superior, in many cases clearly superior.

Fabregas was a good servant for the club, but Ozil is a winner, Fabregas isn't.

Not true. We won Community Shield and FA Cup with Cesc but we did the same with Ozil in just his first season.

Sorry but Ozil isn't superior to Fabs in every department. Cesc has better hold up play, Ozil has an edge in vision, passing is around the same. Cesc is stronger on the ball and better in front of goal. Ozil has better pace. I would give Fabs an edge defensively too. I am basing this on both playing for Arsenal. But Ozil has only played one season for us and will only get better, Cesc had a fair few. But Ozil needs to up it to level or better an Arsenal Cesc.

Also Cesc isn't a winner? Where do you get this from? He's a multiple winner with Barca and Spain!

Just to remind you how good an Arsenal Cesc was in the 09/10 season he played 27 games and scored 15 goals and assisted 16 times. In 7 champs league games he scored 4 and assisted 2. Those are damn impressive stats for a non winner!

Ozil's more mobile. Carries the ball better and has the best vision of any playmaker around.

I would say technically Fabregas is very good but Ozil is better.

Cesc works harder though but I wouldn't say he is stronger. Ozil is bigger than Fabregas just a little less aggressive.

I love Fabregas but wouldn't swap.

Well we will soon see who is better of the two, so far Cesc has started off well and Ozil has yet to hit form. Problem for Ozil is Wenger is sticking him on the left flank where its not his best position. I really hope that Wenger puts him back in the centre where he is most effective.

Who do you think will win more trophies... Fabregas at Chelsea or Ozil at arsenal? I assume from your commenr you're going to go with Ozil... Want to put a bet in that?

Ozil already has 2 so guess who's winning that. Don't know why you're so eager to downplay our players and overhype other teams but whatever.
