Watched The Prestige last week. Really good film. Nice twist at the end, too.

Divergent ... very watchable, if something of a homage to The Hunger Games ....

    A bit like McAvoy's beard.

    Decent film though.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a good film, btw. Gets a bit silly sometimes but worth watching.

City of Men was pretty good, not up there with City of God but worth a watch.

Soldier Blue (or 'How The West Was Really Won')

... saw it back in the day and recently treated myself to the Blue-Ray ... could watch it just to hear Buffy Saint Marie sing the title song ... but the performances of Candice Bergen and Peter Strauss remain mesmerising ... my idea of a 'Rom Com' <laugh>

I saw that years ago. Lots of savagery at the end, that made it infamous as A Clockwork Orange in it's day.

Gripping! Just simply a very good film (some may not like the end, may leave you wanting more) 9/10

Sin City 2 A dame to kill for.
Pretty much more of the same although not as good as the original. I kind of miss Clive Owens ham acting tbh.

    6/10

    22 Jump street.

Pretty much more of the same although not as good as the original. I really like Jonah Hill's ham acting tbh.

    7/10

    The Giver.

No not an ST biopic. A sickly sweet modern fairytale. Jeff Bridges is in it so that's a plus. Not much else going for it tbh desoite the extremely high volume of ham acting that occurs .
