    Watched The cabin in the woods last night. God that film is not what I expected. Expected a typical redneck murder in the woods... Turns out very very differently!

    Not too sure if I liked it or not...

    I had the same view of it when I watched it. Very different film with comedy blood and guts. Could not decide if it was trying to be a Thriller, Horror, Sci- fi or gory/shock film. Tried to be all and ended up being none of them.

    Cabin is pretty good but has some very Joss Whedon touches so it depends if you're into his stuff, if you are you'll probably really really like it, if not then being on the fence is understandable. I enjoyed the surprise elements.

    Guess it was just because I was expected a horror, wasn't really wanting to watch a sci-fi/comedy/horror like GB says.

    I watched The Day After Tomorrow last night it's a pity they don't make more disaster films like this and Armageddon.
