Ok on that occasion wet Sam didn't get the rub of the green re the corner. He didn't say anything about Pelle's disallowed goal though for offside...which clearly wasn't. So as they say things have a way of evening things out......Wet Spam were outplayed simples..... edit :- oops already been said by a few...sorry folks........
How can you be an Article Editor and finish a post with the word (non-word actually) simples? Easy just done it... Not a term I usually use but hey who cares we won.....
Enjoyed Ron's genuine hatred of West Ham's tactics. They're fans really must question why they're paying £45 a time to watch that team.
Blackmore just subtly looking for bloody transfer news re Morgan or Jack when he could of spoken about the game more.
Interesting what he says about Taider near the end. Taider was unhappy he wasn't playing and he didn't accept Koeman's explanation that he wasn't ready because of missing preseason. Don't want someone that temperamental. Good riddance.
I also think Ron will give everyone a chance if they are ready...I know we had a light squad last season, but there were murmurs about Poch having favourites in his inner circle.
Can't knock him for that, and he asks them in a good way, like a fan would. Also, Adam seems a big Cork fan, so he is just one of the supporters really.
Wow that was a performance! Second half especially. The "light weight" midfield as I called them really showed their metal against the Thugs. By full time the ground was nearly empty, never seen such a sight before
Quotes from KUMB..Just to cheers us up for a little bit Re: West Ham United v Southampton: Match Thread Postby ageing hammer on Sat Aug 30, 2014 5:00 pm We were second best all over the pitch today, well beaten, out fought as well. We all laughed at Southampton a few weeks ago wondering how they were going to field a team. Well we certainly are not laughing now. Next 4 games are going to be defining for Big Sam me thinks Re: West Ham United v Southampton: Match Thread Postby Faubert's Boot on Sat Aug 30, 2014 5:00 pm We sat back, had a very slow tempo, invited pressure and had no urgency. The amount of times we were robbed of the ball was incredible. We thoroughly deserved this, and considering we were all laughing at Southampton they have shown us that we are still quite a way from them. Re: West Ham United v Southampton: Match Thread Postby evomutant on Sat Aug 30, 2014 4:46 pm Southampton have seen their squad absolutely decimated this summer, and still like 3 times the team we do. Movement, awareness. Absolutely embarassing and goes to the manager in my book.
Honestly? I think that Pelle goal may actually have been offside, or if not it was really close. It wasn't that horrible a call.
Saints win, Aberdeen win, Skates lose - perfect. Strange seeing Dan Seaborne playing against Aberdeen.
If it was close, you can't blame the linesman. It's not an exact science...sometimes difficult to see even on replays. P.s. I would be less understanding if we lost
