West Brom should have made their substitutions earlier and that;s number 7 Morriston and number 13 Mayhill !!!

Top performance over the 90 fom the boys today. Our most encouraging display so far.

    Nice cameo from Carroll too.
In injury time he was trying to help out defensively and I was thinking "he's willing but he's following the ball and lost his man"...
then the ball broke to him, luckily, on the edge of the box and he drove us forward up the pitch with a series of one-twos....he was nippy, intelligent, and has a lovely touch....he finished with a lovely through ball to Gomis which could have resulted in a goal.
Excellent stuff for a kid in his first 10 minutes in a new team.

I know it was only 10 minutes but I don't think he'll make a DM though, as others have said, more a Joe Allen type.

I hope Montero's happy being a sub/squad player otherwise Monk's got a headache with the wingers. Montero looks fantastic. He looks the most intelligent and potent with the final ball as well as being very pacey.

Brendan had a knack for using wingers in an interchanging three behind the striker. That would mean Siggy gets his rest. Also the striker? Bony and Gomis. A few selection headaches there for the boss!

Is this the most talented attack we have had so far?

Best overall performance for quite some time. Dyer, Routledge a Bony and Siggy stand out for me. Montero looks very, very good...fast and strong. Carroll is my man to replace Shelvey, who is too much the glory hound at times. Anyway, another 3 points and a better performance all round<ale>

We are looking like we are back to our best, looks like Monk is on a mission to prove a few things to his doubters, good on him, we are going to be in for one hell of a season, bring on Chelski!..................

Is this the first time we have won 4 PL matches on the bounce?

Huw should resign for hiring such an useless manager. Under Laudrup we would have won 5-0 at least. Sack Monk now!!! We'll be relegated before Xmas if we keep playing like this.

It's nice to be right! Although I didn't think City would lose. Maybe they're tying to emulated United.

Don't forget the last game of last season!

The last time that we had won 3 games on the bounce was Liverpool under Brendan and Laudrup's first 2 games.

We have Phil, well done. You're obviously not drinking enough if you can still count at 5:30 in the afternoon! I'll be cracking a bottle later to celebrate <cheers>

Bummer... Chelsea score after a minute. Come on Everton!

    Edit: 2 - 0 after 3 minutes! Bugger.

And one League Cup match, although that doesn't count for manager of the month.

Thought by now we would be done with the Laudrup thing. Some people need to move on.

3 from 3,100% record and top of the table well done lads. Thought that was a great team performance, every player across the park closed down quickly when we didnt have the ball and played some slick passing when we did have it.
