Swansea at home, Sunderland away and Burnley away.

The result of which is the dizzy total of 2 points. Embarrassing. Let's not forget the MK Dons game.

Not a single win in 4 games, even Moyes wasn't this bad.

Rooney (Scouse twat, can't believe this ****er is captain), van Persie, Mata, Evans, Valencia, Fletcher and Young were all ****ing horrendous as usual

Why is LVG so obsessed with 352? He'd played 433 throughout his career. Just because Holland had a "reasonable" World Cup (which they didn't win might I add) with this system it seems he can't bare to drop it. An absolute dog **** of a formation and the players look clueless.

Might only be 4 games in but LVG looks completely clueless and doesn't know how to change things. Bring back Moyes, we had twice as many points at the same time last season!

You honestly believe our style of football will improve with a different formation? The problems with our defence AND our attack - even last season - stem from our midfield. You may even have an argument there about the way we're conceding, but how do you explain the lumbering performance going forward? Our lacklustre attempts at going forward and our mediocre attempts at trying to shield our defence stem from poor players like Fletcher, Anderson, Young and Valencia.

The only change I'd like to see in terms of formation is picking Rooney OR RVP up top but not both. They can't play together, it doesn't work and I believe Mata should be behind the striker.

FFS you just have to be f**ing patient. If you cannot see the improvement in the play today despite the result you are f**ing clueless. <doh>

In January I said this squad was s**t and that most of the players need to sold. United are doing that now. It will take new players, new formations and systems time to gel.

    Judge him after 10 matches!

As usual Christian, the plastics want immediate success. Sir Matt left a legacy, but a string on managers won sweet FA except a couple of FA cup wins. LVG needs time, he has said 3 months to sort it out, so it's no use bitching until his system is in place.

On the other hand, if your are an impatient good weather "plastic" tootle off to the Citeh board, you will be more than welcome there, but be prepared to voice your own opinion there, as you will be on your own. More signs of life on the Marie Celeste than on the City board

United back 3 got a clean sheet.

    Well played LVG.

Liverpool cant even keep a clean sheet with a back 4.

What improvement was that then? Was it the constant long balls from the middle of the pitch in the first half hoping one of our striker wins the header, or the Fulham-esc style performance in the second half where EVERYTHING went down the right hand side, namely through Valencia who couldn't find a red shirt if his bastard life depended on it.

We were awful again today. Calamitous at the back (improved in the 2nd half) and as usual ****, limp and uninventive going forward

    What game were you watching?

I can see an improvement from the s**t performance against Swansea and Sunderland. The defence made mistakes but at least it didn't concede. FFS no point ranting. I said we were in for a very rough ride. We are not even sure how far the bottom is before we reach it. We gave Moyes a year.
We all see the game according to what we expect. If you expect a defeat and you get a draw, then it is not too bad.

LVG is still bringing in players. We just need to wait for a few months to see what pans out <ok>

Our horse is way out of Jose's ambitions, it's a very strong horse, but no where near big enough to carry Jose's ego, and we would need a train of pack horses for all his baggage

Methinks jordan is either a wum claiming to be a united fan, or a plastic.

I think LVG is doing a sterling job, you just haven't got enough patience, it's only 3 games in, so cut him some slack, you'll be fine...............<cheers>

Could he be Astroturd the stupid RS in disguise ? <whistle>

His posts do not contribute anything positive...we should keep an eye from now on <ok>

PS: the clue/give away is 'Bring back Moyes' . What a strange thing to say for a supposed united fan!

Nah, Jordan has been on the site and 606 for ages, seems to have recently returned but is definitely a United fan.

I can see why he's pissed off. We've been ****, the type of **** Moyes was completely crucified for.
I also agree that the back three and wing backs is not really working and doubt that it ever will. I also question where Di Maria fits into it. I also question why we've bought three left sided full backs/kind of but not really centre halves and no actual centre halves.

But yeah, he's foreign and not Moyes so it's bound to come good in the end.

    "

Seems LVG doesn't actually decide who we sign. Instead of using a manager with years of experience, the final say on who we sign is down to Woodward, whose qualifications include being an ex banker, ex accountant, and a yes man to the Glaziers"

It is too early to say that the 352 will never work. You might be right but could it work with the right personnel ? If it doesn't work LVG will change it sooner or later. He is a top manager and all the clubs he's managed have done well eventually. United will be no different.

The fundamental difference with Moyes is that while Moyes will have needed to break his duck in winning a trophy at United, LVG has done it and has nothing to prove to anyone.

Yeah, jordan's definitely a red. He's been on here and GC for years. Jen's just been keeping him busy for the last couple ;)

As for LvG, I'm sure he knows what he's doing. It might just take a bit of time to implement.

It'll take time alright. I reckon top ten is decent target, let alone top four.

My nagging doubt on van Gaal is that while he's had success before, and plenty of it, it's never been sustained.
Time will tell though, it's just a shame we're making a right mess of a kind start to the season.
