He's been okay. Nobody has been exactly good in reality. Again, Tadic showing some touches of class and a view on what he could be. As a team we look alright, and one that will struggle to create lots of goals. So absolutely nothing we didn't all know before the game
Pelle definitely got a touch so why wouldn't he be given it? Morgan gets the assist but I agree, he did well enough to deserve the goal.
He's been much more of a physical presence. I think he scored the goal. Had a few mistakes but in general has been putting himself about and getting to lots of aerial balls he wasn't last week. Has knocked down several balls to players, but they've just been screwing them up. Davis has been a little disappointing. I am no sure what ThatThereSaintsFan is seeing.
Aside from the goal Morgan has been poor in comparison to his usual self. Fitness or is he still in a grump?
He's learning the game over here and seems to be improving every game. I don't necessarily think his ceiling is particularly high, but then there are far better and more qualified judges of that than I am. The main thing is he's definitely knuckling down and trying to be better and more physical. All power to his elbow. And head.
I was actually worried that Morgan didn't look all that happy to score. But someone else said he looked chuffed - so it might be my stream!
Who cares, a grumpy/non-committal Schneiderlin is still better than 3/4 of the midfielders in the Premier League.
Don't get out the smileys like you're some sort of higher footballing mind. I don't think he's good enough but if he played well I'd say so, I'm not 12. I don't think Yoshida's good enough but he's playing well enough for me. Pelle seems to me to be winning enough but then not really doing anything with it, if he changes that then i'll be impressed.
The two players who have worried me have been Maya and, to some extent, Morgan. They seem to dally on the ball too much.
I don't necessarily agree with TTSF with regard to todays game, but he's allowed to have the opinion.
I've been far from impressed with him in the first few games but today he's holding the ball up nicely, making his presence known and looking far more comfortable on the ball. Therefore, im tired of people having a set opinion based on 2 bad games.
