You've been a bit unlucky so far. Palace got the early one and have had ten men behind the ball and have been happy to let you have the ball since then. Tough for any team to break that down when they're as well organised as Palace have been so far.

Delivery from set pieces has been horrible though.

You can't help but feel that a good manager could get a tune out of this team. Our attacking play is diabolical, and yet - striker aside - the creativity should be there. I realize they're new to this league and need time to gel, but I just don't see any progression.

EDIT: Phew. Are we relying on Janmaat for goals now?

One! We are 3 games in with a load of new players. All this whining is getting a bit boring. All I was saying here is we are fairly solid at the back. Able to keep the ball quite well but someone needs to show some quality at the sharp end. A perfectly reasonable assessment.

 

Was getting pretty fed up with the performance earlier, but our dominance in games will start to show eventually. We really could do with winning this one though- not for any points need as its ridiculously early in the season, but to placate the swelling ill feeling.

 

At least we're level and will hopefully have something to build on in the second half. We have a goal which will hopefully ease some of the tension - tension that does not help the team.

 

Indeed. To go on and win would help placate the baying mobs. When was the last time we came from behind to win?

 

Spot on. We are a team that when the crowd is with the team they are like a 12th man. When the crowd are on the teams back we play like we have left a someone in the locker room.

I hope that we do go on and win and prove some of us (me included) wrong!

I am fed up as most of you will be with crap results. I get the feeling like we are a jigsaw with some key pieces missing and the person doing the jigsaw is blind!

I hope we get the result for the new players sake!

I also hope that we employ a set piece coach because we may aswell not bother with them!
